Paris 1913. At the Theatre des Champs-Elysees, Igor Stravinsky premieres his The Rite of Spring. Coco Chanel attends the première and is mesmerised... But the revolutionary work is too modern, too radical: the enraged audience boos and jeers. A near-riot ensues. Stravinsky is inconsolable. Seven years later, now rich, respected and successful, Coco Chanel meets Stravinsky again - a penniless refugee living in exile in Paris after the Russian Revolution. The attraction between them is immediate and electric. Coco offers Stravinsky the use of her new villa in Garches so that he will be able to work, and he moves in straight away, with his children and consumptive wife. And so a passionate, intense love affair between two creative giants begins...

Two best friends - one unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) - have their lives turned upside down when they're unexpectedly charged with the care of 7-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so-kid-savvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins (Ella Bleu Travolta and Conner Rayburn), leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what's really important in life.

Only a few minutes have passed since the authorities lost contact with the people trapped inside the quarantined building. Nobody knows exactly what's going on inside. Outside, chaos reigns... For the Special Operations Unit this is a seemingly straightforward mission; to enter the building and analyse the situation. But as we know, appearances can be deceiving.
What if someone gave you a box containing a button that, if pushed, would bring you a million dollars... but simultaneously take the life of someone you don’t know? Would you do it? And what would be the consequences? The year is 1976. Norma Lewis is a teacher at a private high school and her husband, Arthur, is an engineer working at NASA. They are, by all accounts, an average couple living a normal life in the suburbs with their young son... until a mysterious man with a horribly disfigured face appears on their doorstep and presents them with a life-altering proposition: the box. With only 24 hours to make their choice, Norma and Arthur face a momentous moral dilemma. They soon discover that the ramifications of this decision are beyond their control and extend far beyond their own fortune and fate.

After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to. The presence seems most concerned with Katie, a student who has felt "haunted" her whole life. Her boyfriend, Micah, a day-trader, becomes fixated on learning as much as he can about the phenomenon. Technologically savvy and a lover of toys, Micah spends a few thousand dollars on a high-definition video camera and sets it up at the foot of their bed, creating at once the most intimate of tableaux and an evidential medium. The arrival of Micah's new toy seems to trigger an escalation of paranormal activity, causing Katie to observe that the presence "doesn’t like it". As tape rolls, Katie becomes increasingly distant while Micah's fascination grows into obsession.

For years, Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page) has been dreaming of escaping her tiny, truck-stop of a town Bodeen, Texas. Unfortunately her devoted, beauty pageant obsessed mother (Marcia Gay Harden) is convinced that Bliss can only succeed in life if she wins the crown at the local Miss Blue Bonnet Pageant, but the awkward outsider knows there's something bigger and better out there. When Bliss sneaks off to the big city of Austin with her best friend Pash (Alia Shawkat) she discovers a world unlike anything she could ever imagine: roller derby, with its girl-power-meets-punk-rock spirit and its liberating celebration of wild individuality. Inspired by the likes of Maggie Mayhem (Kristen Wigg), Bliss secretly tries out for a spot on the Hurl Scouts, a rag-tag team of scrappy underdogs. Soon she's trading in her gowns and crowns for skirts, skates and scrapes becoming her alter ego, Babe Ruthless. Leading a precarious double life, Bliss may be a waitress at Bodeen's Oink Joint by day, but by night, she's becoming the fastest thing on eight wheels. Now she's doing things she never dreamed of - fearlessly facing off with bad-ass rivals like Iron Maven (Juliette Lewis) and falling for a boy in a band (singer/songwriter Landon Pigg) - while trying to be a heroine to her new friends and teammates. But when her secret gets out, Bliss will face her toughest fight yet: to take control of the future... on her own terms.
